Tho Poverty Bay Cricket Association met at tho Masonic Hotel last night, there being present: Messrs Hallamore (in tne chair), Maude, W. Gibson, Pasloy, Barry, Hill and Gardiner. Applications were received from the Rangatira and Wain gale Clubs for affiliation.—Granted.
It was resolved to agree to tho stipulations made by tho Rugby Union regard-, ing certain work to be carried out at the Domain.
Messrs Gibson, Gorman, and Maude were appointed a committee to select a team to meet the Wamgnkc Club on No. 2 wicket at the Domain ne.it Saturday. Permission was granted the Union Club to play 13 or 15 men in the Thursday B team. It was decided to meet every Monday evening during the season, unless other" wise notified, and it was also resolved that any delegate absenting himsßlf from thJee consecutive meetings without leave of absence should forfeit his seas. During the months of December, January, and February, the time for drawing stumps has been fixed at 6.30 p.m,
Messrs Pasloy and Gibson were deputed to see that tho fences around the Domain are sheep proof, so that arranges merits can be made for tho depasturing of sheep to keep the grass down It was resolved to ask Messrs A. F Kennedy and W- Miller to undertake the supervision of the Association’s concert to be held on the 13th December.
Arrangements are in progress for the' match next Thursday. Accounts amounting to £5 His 8d wore passed for payment.
