Groymouth, lest night
A young man named Martin Kennedy mot with a nasty nooident to-day. His horee took fright and boltod, the bit breaking. Kennedy jumped off, lauding on his knees. Qo broko one of his knee caps. A child named Hunter, five years of age, was run over by a oart to-day, being badly bruised and cut about tbe face and head. Several stitches were required in a out on the cheek. .
An old man named O'Grady died in the hospital to-day at tho uge of 75 yaars. Ho joinod the navy in 1850, and went out to China in H.M.B. 0 tin, in 1860. Ho was present at tho taking of the T»ku forts at tbe mouth of the Peiho river. For his services he received a medal and two clasps. For years he has been a miner on the West Coast, and was an old age pensioner.
Tho Hon. A. R Guinnoss, Speaker, has been confined to his bouse through illness since his arrival home.
