The work, whiob mußt have ocoupied many days of patient ami painstaking labor, was executed by a prisoner serving a term iu the gaol. In addition there is a neat stand of Maori curios, amongst which may be seen a Paraerae, or shoo as used by the natives over 100 years ago.
