PRESS ASSOCIATION Ohcißtobucoh, Saturday, For a considerable time tbs city has been subjected to the attentions of a bold gang of criminals. Toe list of burglaries bas gradually grown larger, Qnd these daring tbieves nave been successful in eluding the vigilance of the police. Last night two detectives arrostod two men for burglary, and the police beliovo they had been concerned in a long list of darmg burglaries, From S o’olock on Thursday morning to fivo yesterday evening Detectives Ward and Gibson kept an unbroken watoh upon tho movements of the two men, and succeeded in arresting them. Their names are Rawson and Howell, Rawson reached for a rovoiver, but before ho could get if Detective Ward placod his hand upon it and had the man quickly handcuffed. Detective Gibson, after a short ohaße, secured the other man, and they were both conveyed to the look up. Both wore crape masks, and electric flash lamps were fouud in their possession. Bawson had a special pooket in his ooat for a sis chambered revolver, and carried 25 loose cartridges. There wa) no struggle. The pair appear before tbe Court this morning.
