BOATING FATALITY.

PRESS ASSOCIATION Thames, Saturday. A sad boating fatality occurred when a man named Bauer either died from exposure or was drowned in the Gulf. Bauer was fishing on Thursday night, when a heavy gale sprang up, and it is thought ihe vessel was struck by a squall and overturned. It was reported stiat a beat had been capsizad, and a eearoh party that left the Thames found tho VikiDg at anchor, with the masts gone by the board, and the body of tho man was found near the oabin, which was filled with water, I lashed to the bulwarks. It was ascertained that Bauer was dead. 'To prevent himself being washed overboard it is presumed that Bauer lashed himself to the Viking, aad sucoumbed from exposure.
