COLONEL PITT.
I-KESS ASSOCIATION Christchurch, last night, The Hon, A. Pitt passed a very good night last night. His condition this morning was very much improved ; the improvement continued during tho day, and he was ablo for the first time since the operation to t ake with safety some nourishing food. He was very much better in spirits, and altogether is in a fair way to recovery.
