DELAY OF SAN FRANCISCO STEAMERS.

PRESS ASSOCIATION Auckland, last night. Tlie local agent of the Oceanic S.S Company announced that the Sonoma will not leave Auckland for San Francisec until November 31st. It has been decided to lay all the boats up at Sydney for nearly one month for a general overhaul, and it is anticipated that thereafter the time table date will be kept. Following the Sonoma the Ventura leaves Auckland on December 21st, and the Sierra or January 11th.
