She is immured in her home at Concord, Massachusetts, and is guarded by designing persons, Mrs Leonard, head of the Christian Scientists at Brooklyn, impersonates her, and dressed in velvets and ermine drives daily in a closed oarriage at Gonoord, hoping to convince the followers of the eult that Mrs Eddy is in perfeot health, A canoer specialist from Boston is reported to seoretly visit Mrs Eddy weekly. Members of the Christian Science ootetie deolare that Mrs Eddy has spent a fortune of three millions sterling in charities.
