The authorities worn warned of yesterday’s intended attack on the Treasury oarriage, but considered the eecort sufficient. The terrorists were concealed in a beer shop until an apple woman signalled the approach of the carriage about noon. By means of bombs and bullets the terrorists kept the police and gendarmes at bay for 10 minutes, enabling tbe woman to escape with the booty.
Several of the robbers have been arrested, and one has committed suicide. Six civilians were wounded, aud one was killed. Three gendarmes were also wounded,
Thirty students and workmen have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the robbery. Twenty Cossacks now guard the postal vane.
