PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT London, Oct 29, Mr Kcir Hardie, the Labor leader, in a speech at Bradford, declared that militarism was obtaining a growing hold on the country. One education authority had permitted the inclusion in the school syllabus of drill, including.rifle shooting. A Liberal Minister was reluctantly, shamefacedly. compelled to permit what a Tory Minister had refused. Mr Hardie concluded by urging the people not to allow the children to be taught the hellish doctrine of shooting their brothers.
