PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 4,32 p.m., OeSober 14, New York, Oct. 13. The trial in oonneclion with the Standard Oil Company is proceeding at Finlay, Ohio. The disclosures suggest that the trust had begun to create foreign hoardiog companies for the purpose of evading the Federal or State laws. Ooihbert, tbs president of tbe Manhattan Oil Company, which is a subsidiary conoern to the Standard Oil Company, testifying under the promise of the Court of immunity from prosecution, declared that the general industrial development of tho company j was limited. People in England owned his oompaDy. He had not seen anybody connected with the industrial company; but had remitted them money.
