DEATH OF GROHN
PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 11.20 p.m., Oot. 4, Bydney, October 4. In the Norton v. Haynes libel case, pr. Reddell, who attended Grohn, stated, that the man wbs organically diseased, being a chronio alcoholist. Ho examined the body after death and saw no algos of violenoe. He thought Grobn died of heart failure, aod gavo a certificate. He was not informed that the man was struck with a bottle. Nothing was Baid to awaken the slightest suspicion that the man did not die a riatual death. Norton, in the box, said the statement that be struck Grobn with a bottle waß a downright, absolute, deliberately concocted lie.
Sergeant MoKie, who was present at the medioal examination, raid that the dcotor did not turn back the man’s hair to see if there was a wound on the scalp. Witness Baw no bloodstains on the body.
