ALL NATIONS BAZAAR.
At the Salvation Army Barracks last ovoning tlio All Nations Bazaar in aid of tlio Social anil Missionary work of (ho Army, was opened with a selection by tlm band under .liandmaatcr Shepherd, after which band sergeant Jackson led in prayer. Captain Slattery then calloil upon His Worship the Mayor to open the Bazaar. Ho stated that the sale of work was arranged to raise money ir. connection with their self denial appeal, which would go towards the Social and Missionary work of the Army, That work was un sectarian. Their " target ” this year was X’.lfiO, but they hoped at the end of tlio month lo reach tlio high figure of iMOO Mr Tcwnloy was greeted with loud applause, llis Worship said ho was quito at a loss to understand why tlio large assembly cheered him for coming at tlio kind invitation of the Captain of tho Army lo open tho Bazaar, which was 11 groat pleasure to him. Nor was not this an “All Nations Bazaar ” V Tho Salvation Army claimod tho oarth, and ho was not sure but that they owned a largo portion of it, and had a vary big claim on tho next. Tlio British nation was largo, but tho Salvation Army was larger, for thoy carried their operations amongst other nations. Although thoy aimod at a high figure ho felt that it would soon bn toaohed, and advised those present to make their purchases as quickly as possible. The stalls, which were arranged to represent an “Atl Nations’ Bazaar,” wore very prettily arranged along one side of tho building. Japanese fans, flags, and streamers giving au Oriental uppoaranoe

Yardley and Forrest. During tho evening competitions wore carried on, and selections were played by the band. Tho bazaar will bo continued to-night and to-morrow night.
