Wellington, last night

The next meeting of the New Zealand Ride Association will commence at Trentharu on Thursday, February 28th, and finish on Saturday, Marcl 9th. Tho programme will be be issued in a few days. Thera will bo live matches, in the chain pionship series, five service matches two volunteer matches, and six teams’ matches. The prize list has been considerably increased. The five matches for the belt have been increased to Tli 0 each. Service and volunteer mavhes have also been added to The champion teams’ matches have been increased A 25, that now being fixed as tho first prize. A grand aggie-, gate, to include scores made in all open matches, with a prize list of .105 has been arranged. Altogether D2OO has been added to tho prize list, the total value of which is over .£IBOO, in addition to the belt and trophies Bisley targets of 1905 are to be used. All matches will be fired under a time limit. Entries close on February Ist The championship series will commence on Monday, 11th.
