The lamb market is steady, and a fair business is doing at tho fame prioes tbat ruled last week. The beef markft is fi.in. Hindquarters are quotnd at 3:{ ), and forequarters at 2per lb. Toe batter ma-ket is very firm. There is a good demand for alldescrip« ticins, and prio:s are advancing, Choice Now Z:a!and m-.kos are nominally quoted at US) per ow». Toere aro no supplies cn hand. The cheese market is firm, with an improved demand. Canadian makes aro quotod at 63s per owt. Thoro is no change to report in tho prico of hemp, Tho market is steady, and a fair business is doing. The cocksfoot seed market is quiet, Bright, ole&n-dressed 171 b seed is quoted at 45s per cvt. The wool rnarkot is firm, wi:h an improved demand, The hop market is qu'et, and only a small business is doing.
