PRESS ASSOCIATION Napier, Saturday. The body of a maD, name unknown, was found on the beaoh between Awatoto and Napier early yesterday morning. The deceased had been seen ridiog towards Napier on the previous day, and bis horse was subsequently found tethered to a telegraph pole, and the man’s hat, filled with stones, was on the beaoh. An inquest wss held in the afternoon, and adjourned to Monday in order to make enquires as to the mao’s identity Last night.—The body of the man found drowned yesterday on the beaoh between Awatoto and Napier has been identified re that of Miehael O'Donoghue, a farmer residing by himself at Mahorao. The deceased was a bachelor, and the oiroumstances of the case point to suicide.
