Charles Tyrell, aged nine years, died in the hospital from injuries reoeived by falling astride a picket fence while he and other boys were walking on the top rail. Hokitika, last night. At the Supreme Court to-day Robert Raymond pleaded guilty to charges of attempted rape and assault at Westport, Frank Cannon forgery of a cheque and uttering at Komars, William Harvey, juo,, theft of amalgam from Progress mine, Reef ion, all were remanded for sentence till next day. William James McPherson was found guilty on a oharge of procuring abortibn at Oreymoutb, with a strong recommendation to mercy. James Maloainovioh was found guilty of burglary aod theft at Burnetts, aeu i Denniston, Sentenoe deferred till Satuit day.
