A fire aboard the barque Marlborough Hill was not got under until the whole after part was gutted The cabins and officers’ quarters were destroyed. The decks warmed and the stern plates -buckled. The barque filled with water ">d settled down. The damage is roughly Imated at five to six thousand pounds - Advices have been received of the wreck mf the American barque Mary L. Cashlin, which left Newcastle on June 27th with a cargo, of coal for Magallon, Mexico. After discharging tho cargo she was driven -ashore in a gale and totally wrecked.
