CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. PRESS ASSOCIATION Christohurch, last eight, Tho New Zealand golf championship meeting commences on Monday morning at the Shirley links. A large number of players from a'l parts of tho colony are taking part, and many of them have arrived. Mr S. H. Gollan, of Napier, a former champion, is expected to win the championship, the rnnner-up being Harold Wright (Timaru), C. Preweet (Christchurch). or Te Tareha (Napier), also a former champion.
