Sydney, August 24. Tho Assembly bed an all night sitting on the second reading debate on tbe Gambling Bill, which, it is stated will drive the betting evil from the city and localise it on the racecourse.
Ths Anti-Gambling 811 was read a seoond time by 39 to 10. The debate in Committee is progressing. Angry soenes have occurred, and one member has been removed.

The House sat continuously until this afternoon, Labor m’tubers stonewalling [ the Gambling 811 Mr Miller disputed the 6c:ing Speaker’s impartiality in calling upon members to speak, with the rrsult that he was remuved from the chamber. The "gag” was twioe applied before the second reading was oarried. In Oommittro a good deal of disorder was manifested, but fair progress was made, with occasional application of tho “gag.”
