A telegram to tho Melbourne Argus from Koroit on July 27th soya :— 11 Thera is considerable oonjooturo borons to tho nnturo of nu nppoaratioo in tho sky on Wodnosdoy afternoon, whioh was witness od, and ia vouched for, by two thoroughly reliable goatlomou. Mr W. H. Skilbcck and Mr J. H. Oglo woro standing on tho railway platform at live o’clock in tho aftornoon, in bright daylight, with a clour sky, when they observed a cometliko shape appearing from tho northward, and apparently about half a milo nbovo the oarth. Tbo objoot was daik, with tho hoad apparently a foot iu diameter, und tho tail some nine foot long. It was travelling rapidly towards n liitlo wont of south, and when direotly ovcihoad as euiuod a shape soinsvvhat roarmbling that of an airship. Toon it heoamo smaller, and onco moio sproad out, finally disappearing behind some clouds which wero r sing to tho southward. Tho obj ot was not going with tho little breeze to bo folt, whioh was from tlio wort, but had tho brotzo on what a sailor would oull tho starboatd bow.”
