Armed with a tomahawk he first at' tacked a boy named Hockley, at Thornloy railway statioo, B.ockloy’ managed to escape, after receiving a slight wound in the head.
Thence rushing in the direction of Pennant Hills, tho Chinaman met and killed a boy nemed Pettit, aged eleven.
Then bo made his way to the'residenoe of Hine’d family, who batricaded themselves inEide.
Failing to obtain admission, ho attacked and set fire to the adjoining bedroom.
A boy named Aiken, aged fifteen, who was delivering grcciries at Hine’s, was the next victim. He was brutually attacked and killed.
The police arrested the murderer after a desperate struggle. The murderer is supposed to be eußtring from religious mania.
