The weather was threaten ing at tho sla*t of proaeedings, and it grew worse daring the afternoon, soutb-wost wind with thiok drizz'ing rain miking matters most unpleasant. Ij spite of the UD&avorable weather tbo attendance was grid, Lord Planket and suite, and Sir Joseph Ward being present.
