Gas engines, miniDg implement?, ard washing plant were shipped at Cardiff, also a large staff of ongineers. The voyage is expected to last six months, Cablegrams previously received state: — It is reported that some diamonds which wore found on an island were shown to Mr William Griffith, late manager of Dj Beer’s mine, by a seafaring friend, who eubstquently died. Before his death tho man gave Griffith full particulars as to the location cf the treasure island Many in fluontial personages are interesting themselves io the prejeot, no fowor than twenty peers and eight judges being among tbe shareholders. A London syndicate has chartered the steamer Naima to proceed to an unnamed island off the African coast to search for diamonds.
