REPLY TO MR MACKRELL
(To the Editor Gisborne Times.) Sir, -Kindly allow mo space for u brief line or two in reply to Mr Mitekroll. Ist: Whoa Iu- says tlmt I evaded his questions, lie says what, is not correct, as a rolcroneo to my former reply to him will fully prove. My replies were given as he wanted them strictly from tho Bible. I have “evaded” nothing in any of my letters; that charge wholly belongs lo I lie other side. 2nd; The use Mini Mr Mnckrell makes of Rom. 2.7, is simply ludicrous, and illustrates his eolossal ignorance of scripture. Without enlarging, let him read tho preceding chapter from ver. Hi and oil to vor. 10 of chapter 2, and lie will learn something. In all good feeling 1 mala- ibis statement, I am willing to meet Mr Mnckrell, or any other spiritualist in Gisborne, in a three or four night's public discussion, under eon • ditions usually observed by all “ practised debaters.”—Yours, etc , l>. BARRY.
