TAIT'S “LIVING PICTURES,”
During the hist few months Gisborne has been favored with n visit from many cinematograph companies, hut .the exhibition provided by ‘•Tails Living J’ieturcs ” is certainly the best oi the kind that lias ever visited this town. in »dl the scenes ilepietcd, tliere was. a keen appreciation in regard to all details, anil the great success of the pictures submitted was'amplv testified by the warm applause lh-.it followed. The pictures of the San Francisco disaster attracted chief attention. anil gave everyone present a very .rood idea of the trying time experienced by residents of that city. A large number 0 f pictures of a humorous character were introduced, as also several illustrative of sporting life The programme altogether was a "capital one Luring the evening several songs were given by Mr Sydney Monk- wu->'was warmly encored on each
appearance. The entertainment will be repeated this evening when there will be a complete change of programme,
