THE EXHIBITION.
PRESS ASSOCIATION Chrietchuroh, last night. The weekly offioia! Exhibition report states that tbe South Australian Society of Arte, Adelaide, has applied for five hundred equate feet of spaoß in the art gallery Of the Exhibition for the purpose of exhibiting pictures from South Australia.
Advice has been received from the Minieter in oharge of the Exhibition, authorising the expenditure of £SOO in connection with the natural history committee’s request. A meeting of the com mittee will shortly be held to make all arrangements in connection with this section,
A communication has been reoeived from the acting Secretary of the Postal Department, Wellington, stating that the commemorating stamps now finally decided upon are to be of tbe value of £d, Id, 3d, and 6d. Tbe designs have all been adopted, and the stamps are beiDg printed. Dr. Wohlmann, the Government Balneologist, from Rotorua, has made application for space ia the grounds near the msobinery ball to enable him to carry out a reproduction of some of tbe geysers fcom the hoi lake district. He states he has been experimenting, and fiads he can make excellent reproductions of the geysers.
