Bruges, and his clerk, James Goodman), on six charges of tbo theft of money, so the total 0? 221300, tho property of Henry Tuck, of Christchurch. The oases arise out of a recent sonsational bankruptcy. Bruges is a well-known solicitor, whoso bocks aro said to bo in a chaotic condition. Tba cases to-day were remanded for a week. Acoused were allowed bail io 22200 each, and one surßty oaoh of £2OO.
