CRICK AGAIN.
PRESS ASSOCIATION COPYRIGHT Beceived 1.5 a,in., July 19. Sydney, July 18. In the Assembly Mr Woods moved dissenting from the Speaker’s ruling in connection with the recent discussion of the Lands Commission report as it related to Mr Crick. The grounds of dissent are that the ruling robbed the House of the inherent right to deal with its own members, and restricted the exercise of the constitutional powers of Parliament, which was the sole judge of its own rights in relation to the conduct of members. After debate the motion was negatived by 48 to 25.
