Although a strong wind was blowing the fire brigade soon bad the flames undt-r control, and prevented the firo spreading to the adjoining buildings .Qo Baoh side. A good deal of damage was dope. The stock, which was fairly heavy, was praclioally destroyed by fire or water, whilst the finishing machinery was com pletely destroyed. The stock was insured in the Sun Office for £4OO.
