There were twenty starters. She bet* ting was 4 to 1 againel Shamrock, 6 to 1 Rattlesnake, 8 to 1 Florin, 10 to 1 Son, 12 to 1 Realm.
From a good start Rattlesnake and Florin were the first away. Sun led out of the straight from Florin, Rattlesnake, and Realm. Passing the bridge Corlnthui was leading, and kept the lead to the straight. Shamrook and Oorinlhus gals loped together in front of Bun and Realm at the riverside. On the seoohd round at the bridge the leaders were three lengths from Realm. The latter got to the frogt at the turn from Rattlesnake and GorlO* thus. Realm had the race won Mf he crossed the last hurdle, winning by eight lengths. Time, 6.48 J. Miss King fiahhed last.
