DRUIDS’ SOCIAL,
The animal social in connection with the TucaDganui Lodge of Droids, No. 7, was held in His Majesty’s Theatre last evening, and proved a most enjoyable function. This dance is eagerly looked forward to by lovers of the terpsioborean art, and the Ecene when the grand march was played mast have been very gratifying to those who worked so hard to promote the success of the sooial. The floor was in esoellent condition, and there were folly 150 couples present. The music was provided by Miss Moore (piano) and Mr Lichtwark (violm). The M O.s were Bros. 8. Breignan. M. W. Craig, H. Miller, A, Pool, A. Sawyer, sen., and S. J. Spiers, while the following committee worked indefatigably towards the success of the gathering : Biros. Palmer, Lewis, J. Carter. G. Miller, Garad, Wade, V. Petersen, E. Whitfield, P. Mnldoon, J. Wbmray, H. Miller, and the joint secretaries, Bros. J, Eaton and G. E. Darton, who spared no tronble in administering to the oomfort of their guests. A sumptuous supper was provided by Bro. A. P. Hailey. A programme of twenty-six dances was gone through, and was not completed until well uto the early hours pi the morning.
