Auckland, yesterday

Quite a chapter of accidents happened on the various athletic grounds on Satur- 1 day afternoon. In the North ShoreGrafton football match, played at North Shore, T. Marshall collided with a North Shore player, and had liis collar bone 1 dislocated, and had to retire from the game. In the same match Yeolamh a I North Shore player, received a nasty kick 1 .in the face, and several other players received minor injuries. I During the progress of the Auckland A I and University hockey match there were four accidents, Kavanagh, the Auckland I captain, collided with another player early in the second spell, and received a nasty blow on the head, which necessitated his leaving the field.
