TRAMWAY ACCIDENT.
Auckland, yesterday,
A tramoar collided with a springcart in Khyber Pass on Monday afternoon. The oart, which was being driven by a man named Morris Moore, was loaded with grain from Hanoock’s Brewery. Moore had driven from the lane beside the brewery, and crossed the line, and whon a little farther down the road he reorossod the line to get on his right side. A tram' oar, driven by Motorman Martin, waa oomiDg down Khyber Pass and struck the oart, whiob upset, and Moore was thrown on to the road, and as he sustained injuries to both knees he wbb taken to the hospital. The left knee was fraotured, and the right knee punctured. The horse esoaped with a few scratches. The oart had both shafts broken, and the apron of the tramoar was damaged.
