At the Waterside Workers’ Conference it was resolved that every union appoint small permanent committees with power to investigate and advise on all questions of industrial dispute, suoh oommitteea from time to time to consult with the eounoil of tbo Federation, but sn that eaoh union may take prompt aotion in oases of enforcement of awards or agreements; also that offioers of this conference be empowered to make representations to the Government with respebt to the laxity of. administration shown in tbo inspection of ' machinery and gear iu connection with wharf work.
