Tlic drapery establishment of Charles Eainger, at Newmarket, was burglariously ,entered The method adopted is an example pf impudence almost unparalleled, as there is a lamp just opposite the shop, and Newmarket is by no means deserted in the main street. Between the hours of ten p.in and midnight the window was broken, but still tho burglars did not attract attention. The robbers made away with about 100 worth of silks and stulls.
