“THE COLLEEN BAWN ”
A RAOE-NIGHT PRODUCTION.
A first-class evening’s entertainment is to be givou in His Majesty’s Theatre on Friday eveniDg next (night of second day’s races), when the Rice Dramatic Company put upon the boards the fasoinating Irish drama, " The Colleen Bawn.” The piece, as with all productions given by the Company, will be presented on an elabora’e scale. New BoeDery has been prepared, and special attention is being paid to the dressing of the piece. The oast of char., aoters is to be a strong one, while the music incidental to the pieoe is to be supplied by the City Band. The production, which is in aid of the Roman Catholio Church funds, should attract a crowded house The box plan is open at Miller’s, and as it is filling rapidly theatregoers should book early to avoid disappoioiipent.
