The Waikouaiti Licensing Committee met to day to hear, under an order of the Supremo Court, na applioat'on for the renewal of the accommodation license for the Railway Hotel, WaiaDgaoro, refused at the annual meeting. Tho committee, under section 63, took oljeotioD to granting the lioense, on tho ground that the premises have net been maintained at the rrqui ed standard, are out of repair, in* sufficiently furnished, and places of conveniences are not kept in a clean and wholesome state. It was decided to serve notioe on the owner, and to adjourn to July 11th to consider tho objections.
