The Rav. F. W. Boreham, ex-President of lh9 N iw Zealand Baptist Union, who has been pastor of the ohuroh at Mosgiel for some yras, and is now leaving for Tasmania, was entertained to-night, when he was presented with three purses of sovereigns, one from the congregation, one from the no-kcanse workers in Taieri, and one from the Baptist Church of New Zialand generally. On beha’f of tho ladies ofthe oongrrgition Mrs Bcioham was presented with a eilver afternoon-tea kettle.
