Sir John Forrest last night gave a dinner in honor of Mr Seddon. The guests Mr Deakjn, Sir William Lyne, Sir-Ma’ooltn McEaohern, and the High Court judges. Theapseebes were of a complimentary cbai aster. Mr Seddon to day visi'ed Bendigo. He was welcomed by the Mayor and leading citizens, and subsequently a public reception was held. He visited places of interest.
To marrow he lunches with the Speaker of the Federal Parliament and attends the openiog. Negotiations with Mr Deskin over reciprocal proposals have been.narrowed down to two or three issues of a somewhat important nature, regarding wbioh possibly a compromise will be arranged.
