PLEASING PROSPECTS.

New Plymouth, last night.

A special meeting of shareholders in the Moturoa Oil Company to-day was very largely attended, holders being present from Auckland and Wellington. In accordance with the directors’ eoheme it was unanimously resolved tr liquidate the present oompany and reconstruct a new [ company under the name of the Taranski Petroleum Company with a capital of £120,000 in one pound shares, shareholders in the Moturoa Oil Company to receive fifty six thousand fully paid-up ordinary shares A start was made this morning with tbe erection of a new derrick on the prison reserve, where the next bore is to be Buok. Visiting shareholders to-day were more than pleased wi'h the demonstrations given at the working bore. I A few Bhare transactions are still taking place at £57 to £52.
