The Premier, Ministry, and Mayor met Mr Seddon at-Poit Adelaide. On arrival at the city he was weloomrd by the Lieut.Governor in tho absence of the Governor, who, however, sent the following message through the L'eut.-Governor: “Please convey my kind regards aDd weloome to Mr Beddon, and my regret that I am away when he is visiting our State.” An elaborate programme had been pre pared for tbo visitor’s entertainment. Replying to the Premier’s speech of weloome, Mr Seddon said his main anxiety was as to bow muoh Australian hospitality he could stand.
