ATTEMPTED MURDER.

A SCOUNDREL PUNISGED,

(Pur Press Association.) Wellington, last night. Allan Hinoholiffe, aged 28, was found guilty at the Supremo Court to-day of attempted murder of Mabel Clark on February 5, and also with attempted suicide. The facts of the onse were that Hincholifie, who had been out of work, was befriended by a man named Claik. and taken into his homo as a guest. While staying at Clark’s, Hiccbeliffa became intimate with one of Clark’s daughters. The mother in the course of time suspected that something was wrong with bor daughter, and asked her to sec the doctor, This the girl refused to do.
