By telegraph, Presto Afta’n, Copyright Received 12 31 a.m., May 4. Pietermaritzburg, May S. One thousand rebels at Ngkorno Hill compelled a supply column of one hundred men to laager at Eiitel. Colonel Manstl relieved them, but a disaster wbb narrowly averted. Sixty natives tried to cut off a body of scouts at Nkadhra. Five Datives were killed after a sharp brush. Twelve kraals were burnt.
