A CELEBRATED ENTERTAINER. Again last oveoiDg there was a la'ge 1 audience at Hi 3 Majesty’s Theatre, when Me R- G. Knowles in his monologue entertainment made his second appearance I before a Gisborne audienoe. That Mr ®vK now l o9 * B ftn entertainer of the first water was amply evidenced by the splendid programme he presented. He was at home in all situations—as a humorist and as a storyteller—and held the rapt attention of his audience throughout. Laughter greeted bis every joke, and his stories were rapturously applauded, Mrs R. G. Knowles, in her b&Djo selections, was again very euooessilul, her efforts meeting with hearty applause. The biograph pictures were another feature of tbo entertainment. and were much appreciated. To night the season will be brought to a dose, when there should be a crowded bouse,
