TWO VEBBELS BADLY DAMAGED By telegraph* Press Ase’n* Copyright Received 10.13 p.m., April 27. Melbourne, April 27. The steamer Aratnac, from Sydney, with 60 passengers, oollided with the Frenoh barque Nantes, anchored off Cape Sound, sheltering from the heavy gale. Both were considerably damaged, though insofficient to endanger their safety. The Aramac came on to Melbourne.

Tbe steamer Aramac had a plate stove in and considerable damage done to the inner fittings. The weather was thick at the time. Tbe passengers were not aware of the collision until morning.
