The steamer Aratnac, from Sydney, with 60 passengers, oollided with the Frenoh barque Nantes, anchored off Cape Sound, sheltering from the heavy gale. Both were considerably damaged, though insofficient to endanger their safety. The Aramac came on to Melbourne.
