There aro rough seas, and shipping is sheltering. The storm is specially severe on the south coast. At Bellambi a number of houses oollapsed, and many were damaged. The lo of of a shed was lifted bodily, and crushed Mrs Fleming to death. WocnoDa, Bui i, Glifton, and other townships in tho district report widespread destruction.
Coaling operations at the jetties have been stopped by th 9 rough see.
