UNION'S REFUSAL TO ADMIT MEMBER. By telegraph* Press Asa’n* Copyright Received 10 37 p.m., April 26. Sydney, April 26. At tbe Arbitration Court the hearing of tbe application to cancel the r. gistration of the Wbarf Laborers’ Union owing to the refusal to enrol a member, a letter was reed from tbe Uoion, showing that the Exeoutive bad decided to admit the member, but a meeting of tbe Union refnsed to endorse the decision. The Exeoutive also stated that the man over whom the trouble arose went to work, and the unionists engaged on the jab immediately struck. In granting a further adjournment of the case the President ordered emendation of the Union registration by striking out the olause giving preference to unionists, holding that by refusing to admit a member tho Union were maintaining preference under false pretences.
