In the House of Commons Mr Eeir Hardie’s women’s suffrage proposals were talked out. During tbe debate cries of “ divide ” emanated from the ladies’ galleries. A flag was thrust through. Mr Grille (Speaker) ordered the gallery to be cleared. Tbe police took a few names. All, excepting one, who was ejected, were persuaded to withdraw after a loud protest.
