TOLAGO BAY,

The annual general meeting of the Tolago Football Club was held at the Tolago Hotel on Saturday night, Mr J. D. G. Tnornton presiding. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted, the balance-sheet showmg a credit balance of £3 9s Gd, which must be considered highly satis* factory.
The election of officers for the ensuing season resulted as follows : Patron, Mr John Moore ; President, Mr W. P. Sinclair ; vice-Presidents, Messrs Loisel, J. B. Morris, Lockwood, J. M. Nelson, G. Williams, R. K. Murphy, W. Reeves, 0. E. Smith, R. Reynolds, E. Boland, J. Karepo, T. Baker, H. Glover, and Dr. Weeks ; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. D. G. Thornton; Committee, Dan Tamararo, J. McNeil, H. Nelson, Rura, and Pour O’Clock; Selection Committee, Messrs King, J. McNeil, E. Jones, Thornton, and the captain; delegates to Rugby Union, Messrs Thornton and D. Tamararo. The appointment of captain and vice-captain was held over till the first match.
The members’ annual subscription was reduced from 53 to 2s Gd.
It wa3 decided to open the season with a practice match on Saturday, April 28th. A vote of thanks to the chairman concluded the meeting.
